Carl Bannerman

Hello! I am Carl Bannerman, a senior here at UMBC. I am a Biology major, on a pre-med track, with the intent of obtaining an MD/PhD degree. I love research and want to be a medical scientist. I fully understand how difficult some concepts in Genetics can be, however I enjoyed the class so much and hope you come to find it rewarding as well. Coming to SI PASS sessions will help in this process a great deal because the sessions are set up to help you understand and not memorize content. This will aid in remembering the content more and finding creative ways to apply it to solve potential problems. This semester is my third time teaching SI PASS and I hope my experience the previous semesters will help you in your studies! Hope to see you at these sessions!

Matthew Snider

Hello! My name is Matthew Snider and I’ll be one of your SI PASS leaders for BIOL 302. I’m a sophomore here at UMBC perusing a degree in Biology and Spanish with the hopes of one day going into the genetics field. Genetics was one of my favorite classes I’ve taken and hopefully I can show you all how fun this class can be while at the same time teaching you the ropes of how to succeed in the class! I hope to see you at my sessions!
